Greetings Dirtlings. Today’s episode is a serious one: Ellsworth is going to teach us about Directed Energy Weapons and a theory going around social media that such weapons are what started the fires in Maui on August 8th, 2023. There are other theories as to the origin of the fires and we will dive into several of them, along with what we believe led up to the devastation which may have been decades in the making. Big Spoon will give us a rundown of events that occurred on the island of Maui in Olinda, Kula and Lahaina and give a list of resources to those needing or wanting to help in any way that they can.
Don’t worry, we will still end on a classic Ellsworth Would You Rather to take your mind off of lasers, climate change, unethical tourism and severe drought. This episode was recorded on September 2nd, please advise some information is dated. As always, do your own research!
